Part 1 - The Overhead Athlete
Course Intended Learning Objectives
PT Course Objective 1 - review biomechanics and anatomy of the lower cervical/upper thoracic spine, shoulder and scapula

Objective 1

The participant will review the biomechanics and anatomy of the lower cervical/upper thoracic spine, as well as the shoulder and scapula.

PT Course Objective 2 - identify safety issues, indications and contraindications for the use of joint mobilization and manipulation, as well as soft tissue techniques

PRIME PT Course Objective 3 - Participants will effectively identify dysfunctions and movement impairments of the upper quarter in the clinical setting, as well as recognize when and how to apply manual intervention and appropriate corrective exercises.
