When you step through our doors, you become part of the family. Dr. Won and Dr. Laura established PRIME Physical Therapy in May of 2017. PRIME transformed from a dream to treating patients in a 230 square foot room inside a CrossFit gym to a thriving multi-location clinic treating hundreds of patients in the Eldersburg and Columbia, Maryland areas.

Dr. Won Yoo received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011 from Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Manual Therapy Institute and was accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2016. Dr. Won specializes in functional treatment emphasizing quality in the patient's everyday life.

Dr. Laura Yoo received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2007 from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. She completed fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Manual Therapy Institute and was accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2013. Dr. Laura is also recognized as a trigger point dry needling specialist by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Jon received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013 from the University of Maryland. He has a background in Exercise Science completing his Bachelor's degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Jon has continued his education after graduate school becoming certified in McKenzie’s method of mechanical diagnosis and treatment, and he has also become recognized as a dry needling specialist by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy.

She earned her Orthopedic Certified Specialist credentials in 2012 and completed fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Manual Therapy Institute. She was accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 2019. She has also become recognized as a dry needling specialist by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Sam received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020 from the University of Delaware, the #1 ranked program in the nation. He also received his master’s degree in 2019 in Clinical Anatomy. After graduation, Dr. Sam stayed in University of Delaware’s Physical Therapy Department to participate in a rigorous 13-month residency program to receive specialty training in Orthopedics.

Dr. Carrie Wall received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2014, from Marymount University. She has become recognized as a dry needling specialist by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy.
Dr. Carrie participated in an overseas service-learning project that provided wellness screens and orthopedic care to two underprivileged communities in Costa Rica. Dr. Carrie enjoys working with all patient populations, helping them achieve their goals.

Dr. Matt attained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Lebanon Valley College in 2024, complementing his academic foundation in Exercise Science, also obtained at Lebanon Valley College.
His commitment to professional growth includes achieving CSCS certification, enhancing his role as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Dr. Matt focuses his practice on athletes of diverse ages, specializing in lacrosse and boxing.

Dr. Brennan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2024 from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences. He has a background in Kinesiology, completing his bachelor’s degree at University of Maryland, College Park in 2021. Dr. Brennan started with PRIME as an aide during his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Luke has been working and coaching clients as a personal trainer for over seven years. He has experience working with a broad range of clients assisting them with various fitness goals while emphasizing proper form and technique. Luke's top priority is to customize each program for each client's goals and ambitions. He makes it his duty to holistically integrate fitness into the lives of his clients no matter their lifestyle.
In addition, Luke has experience working with clients on injury prevention and post injury rehabilitation. He focuses on programming around injuries while also working to correct them.

Mitch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, earned through Towson University. Along with being a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise, Mitch has also received his Corrective Exercise Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist Certifications. Mitch has worked with clients of many different backgrounds and specializes in injury recovery for people whose goal is to live pain free.
Mitch was a track and field athlete focusing on short distance sprinting in high school and competed in several power lifting competitions throughout college.

Jackie is a personal trainer certified through the American Council on Exercise as well as a Certified Pain Free Specialist. When personal training, she specializes in using correct form in all movements, as well as building muscle and aerobic capacity to improve overall health and well being. She has experience and passion for working with clients of all ages and abilities with a concentration in kettlebell and barbell movements.
Jackie has always maintained an active lifestyle playing sports through college and becoming more passionate about exercise post-graduation. Her background includes a bachelors in Human Services from Stevenson University and a Masters in School Counseling from McDaniel College.

Melinda has been practicing massage therapy for 21 years in a variety of settings including spa and private practice. Melinda's specialties include therapeutic and sports massage with a special interest in trigger point release, facilitated stretching, and active isolated stretching. Not only can you book 30, 60, or 90 minute massages, but you also have the option to coordinate a 15 minute massage with Melinda at the beginning or end of your PT treatment.
