Dr. Laura has several years of experience teaching orthopedics as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences. She has utilized her expertise as a mentor and clinical instructor for physical therapy students from multiple universities.
Dr. Laura specializes in treating a range of orthopedic conditions, with a particular interest in manual therapy. Her treatment philosophy looks at the source of the condition, rather than only treating the symptoms, for a more comprehensive and long-term approach to healing and success. Dr. Laura spends time educating her patients about the underlying cause of their orthopedic condition and the most effective ways to minimize the risk of future injury.
Dr. Laura has a special interest in treating the spine, running and weight lifting injuries, and patients with POTS/EDS. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising in group fitness classes, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and one daughter.
