The Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) course schedule includes six advanced manual therapy cumulative modules and a final examination including a written test and practical/oral exam.
Comprehensive Lower Extremity (Examination and Treatment)
January 31 - February 1, 2026

Comprehensive Cervical Spine (Examination and Treatment)

Comprehensive Thoracic Spine & Ribs (Examination and Treatment)

82.5 CEU credits as approved by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy

Fourteen (14) contact hours per "comprehensive" course times 5 courses (70) plus 12.5 contact hours for Neurodynamics equals 82.5 total contact hours for the entire series.

Dr. Alessandro Antonini – PT, DPT, CIMT, FAAOMPT

Alessandro Antonini graduated from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2001 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. He then completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Drexel University and became a Certified Integrative Manual Therapist (CIMT) from Great Lakes Seminars in 2006. He completed a residency and fellowship program with The Manual Therapy Institute (MTI) in 2008, becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).

Alex currently practices full-time in a multi-disciplinary outpatient orthopaedic setting located in Plymouth Meeting, PA (suburban Philadelphia), where he is the Center Therapy Director. In addition to his full-time work, Alex serves as clinical mentor for therapists pursuing their FAAOMPT distinction. He is currently affiliated with 4 of the major APTA credentialed fellowship programs. To date, he has mentored 60+ current fellows. Alex has also served as adjunct faculty in the Physical Therapy program at Widener University in Chester, PA since 2003.

His clinical approach mainly focuses on regional interdependence for all patients treated, with a special interest in Neurodynamic treatment approaches.
